Lyness Suite, a self-contained or bed and breakfast accommodation, is a luxurious retreat with water views over the Kerikeri Inlet and our extensive gardens. The Suite is a beautiful historic accommodation with polished rimu floors, a ceiling fan, lead light windows, and an open fireplace. The Suite is located in a separate wing of our main house and has its own entrance.
Lyness Suite makes the perfect destination for a special occasion or for a relaxing haven for your holiday. In winter, enjoy the crackling fire and soak in the spa bath, or in our long summer season, sit on the verandah delighting in the tranquil surroundings.
There is a super-king size bed (or 2 king-singles), kitchenette, lounge area with seating in front of the fire, and a dining table with views over the gardens and inlet. The suite has a large ensuite, tiled in elegant black and white, with spa bath for two, walk in shower, heated towel rail, robes, and under floor heating.
The kitchenette has a rimu benchtop with a 2 burner electric hob, fridge, and microwave. The suite has large windows across the front of the room maximizing the views and has a private verandah with a barbecue and outdoor table and chairs. There is high speed wireless internet, a stereo, TV, DVD player, and books on the region.
In addition, when booking Lyness Suite, there is the availability of a 2nd room which can accommodate an extra 2 guests. This room also has its own private ensuite bathroom with under-floor heating, heated towel rail, and either a super king sized bed or 2 king singles. French doors open onto a private deck and garden. It is located in the same wing as Lyness Suite, just further down the hall. Photos can be supplied.
