Lyness Cottage is a very private and romantic self contained accommodation with unobstructed water views up the Kerikeri Inlet. It is an historic 1920’s cottage that has been carefully restored. The kitchen cupboards with leaded glass, a kauri benchtop, and the polished rimu floors were recycled from the original homestead.
There is a bedroom with queen sized bed and French doors which open onto the ensuite bathroom featuring a large claw foot bathtub overlooking the inlet. Have a relaxing soak in the bath with Living Natures tranquillity oil and your stresses will melt away! The kitchenette is complete with a microwave, electric jug, toaster, electric frypan, and fridge. The lounge area has a TV, DVD, and stereo with lots of books on the local region.
French doors open onto a verandah and deck with outside seating and views over the inlet. The deck is the perfect spot to unwind and listen to our abundant birdlife. Pick your own lemons, gather herbs from the pots, and barbecue your favourite evening meal all from your own private deck. The cottage is a perfect destination for honeymoon or anniversary couples or those just seeking to get away from it all in a secluded and peaceful setting.
